The Message

Loving God - God's People

My brothers and sisters I ask you  - Who are the Children of God?  Who are God's People? Which people are the seeds of Abraham - the seeds of the heir - the promises?  Many people believe they are the seed of Abraham but I am here to tell you - according to God's word everyone is not a seed of Abraham's.  God's people are those that love the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God and keep His commandments - these people are the seeds of Abraham - These people are the heirs to the promises.  Galatians 3: 16 & 27-29, "(16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.  He saith not, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if ye be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Deuteronomy 7: 6-26 (1) "For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.  (Many people might be wondering how can this be true today - well I am here to tell you that true Christians are far and few and in between.  We are becoming fewer and fewer in numbers) (2)The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people.  (8) But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, (Abraham for those that love the Lord) hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. ( You might be saying you were never in Egypt but my brothers and sisters we all have been in our own little personal Egypt before the Lord turned our lives around.  Egypt can be the place where you were held captive before you turned your life to the Lord - some of us are still in Egypt) (9) Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.  (In other words our God is still the same God He was during the time of Abraham and He is now the same God, never changing - to a thousand generations) (10) And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him; he will repay him to his face.  (You see my brother and sisters we are not to worry about those that would ridicule us because we believe in Christ - because we believe in God.  We are not to fret.  I always tell people just because you do not believe in God or know Him - He still knows you.  God will repay those that hate you because you love Him.  And I ask - who is stronger than God - NO ONE!  (11) Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day to do them.  (We cannot live for the world and live for God to.  The world is total opposite of the commandments, statutes, and judgments of God)  (12) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to  these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers; (13) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee; he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.  (14) Thou shalt be blessed above all people; there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.  (15) And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.  (You know some of us were headed for a sickness in the land of Egypt - there are many illnesses God's children will not see - if God said it then it is so.  (16) And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine shall have no pity upon them; neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.  (As God's children we are not to pity those that hate the Lord or serve other God's yes we are to pray for them but we are not to pity them lest we do-we might try to understand their stinking thinking and the next thing you know we might end up worshipping untrue god's.  (17) If thou shalt say in thine heart, these nations are more than I, how can I dispossess them? (18)Thou shalt not be afraid of them, but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh and unto all Egypt.  (When we come up against our enemies or those that despitefully use us or those that hate us because we are believers or hate us because we do good in the sight of God - the Lord said fear not but remember where thou once was and where God has brought you through - remember that time in your life when you knew it was only God that made that way for you - as He did it before He can surely do it again.  Fear not my brothers and sisters.  (19) The great temptation which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of who thou art afraid.  (20)Moreover the Lord thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.  (21)Thou shalt not be affright at them; for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.  (22)And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little; thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.  (23)But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.  (24)And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven; there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.  (25)The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire; thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.  (26)Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it; but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing." (We are not to want what others in the world have - what God gives unto us it is a good thing and no one can put anything to it nor can anyone take anything from it.  Ask yourself what would you rather have - what your enemy has or what God has for you.  As the old saying goes - All that glitters is not gold - but I know when my Father gives me something it is what it is and I don't have to worry about it tarnishing or causing my arm to fall off - or worst yet be an abomination to our God.  What God has for us it is for us - we don't need to covet anything our enemies have.

As a believer of Christ and our Heavenly Father God we have much power for St. John 14: 12-21 is a message from Christ to all believers.  (12) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.(13) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  (14) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.  (16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; (17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in your. (18) I will not leave you comfortless.  I will come to you.  (19) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me; because I live, ye shall live also.  (20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me and I in you.  (21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them he it is that loveth me shall be loved of my Father and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."  What an amazing promise.  Ask yourself - since you started living for Christ you do see the Glory of Christ in your life as never before.

I Corinthians 2: 9-16, "(9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  (10) But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  (11) For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  (12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  (13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  (14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  (15) But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  (16) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?  But we have the mind of Christ."  We have the mind of Christ - Christ who loved us more than his own life.  Christ who is the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father God.  Christ who loved us knowing all that we had done and would do.  When you have the mind of Christ - How can you not the love the Father?  How can you not obey his laws and commandments?  How can you not want to please him?  When you truly love the Lord - You are the people of the Lord's and no one can take that from you.

In closing my brothers and sisters - As Paul said in Ephesians 6: 24 "Grace be with them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.  Amen."
